Return from Vacation

We returned from vacation last Friday, June 15th. We went to Rebecca's graduation in Salt Lake. Had a very nice time. She looked wonderful. Mary Ellen and Eric were wonderful host. We almost stayed to long. We were starting to smell like fish. The drive to Oxnard was against 25 to 45 mile an hour winds. Richard was exhausted. We stayed in a less than 2 star hotel in Oxnard. I won't wait so long again to make reservations. When we came home on the 15th we brought Michelle, Emily, and Bella. They were very quiet in the car. We love having them here and having them play with the boys.

I kept saying I wished Raelynn would mess up and be a brat so we would say she could never go on vacation with us again. She didn't. She was an angel the whole time; at ME's, Sammie's, Suzanne's. She deserves kudos. We made it worth her while.

Billy came over to play with Grumpaw on Saturady. They had fun together and I love playing games with him. We're on about the same level. He beat me 2 out of 3.

Now we are working on the Family Reunion. Lots of work but lots of fun.

Thought for today:
AOP (You know, like ADD)
Adult-Onset Pessimism
Eradicate AOP and substitute childlike optimism. Optimism is a virtue that allows us to see God's loving hand in the details of our life.
